International Union of artists-pedagogues

Recently I’ve participated in an important for our artistic education event. Marina Astafieva had made a grand effort with a great enthusiasm to collect the key persons in Russian art education and found International Union of artists-pedagogues. The main idea is to forget all the differences (there are traditionally a lot of them) and, uniting the efforts, try to protect the interests of artistic education together (and artists-pedagogues). I think the idea is good and there is need for such organization, at least in Russia. It is practically impossible to protect art education individually, alone!

P.s. It was an honor to me to be for a while amidst such figures as B. Nemenckiy, 91-year alive and vivid legend of Russian education
